Summer Movie Series: Black Panthers


Every year, WE ACT for Environmental Justice puts on our Black & Green Summer Movie Series. This year, we will be screening three films related to environmental and social justice issues in our community.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 27th: The Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution is the 1st feature length documentary to explore the Black Panther Party, its significance to American culture, its cultural and political awakening for black people, and the painful lessons wrought when a movement derails. 

Join us at 6PM for a Q&A with film director and Harlem resident Stanley Nelson. Film starts at sunset.
