Join WE ACT for Environmental Justice for a fun beauty justice advocacy fair where you can participate in activities such as a DIY beauty product making station, zine/ collage-making, letter writing to advance beauty justice, meeting with your State representative and so much more. This event is to show support for New York State’s Beauty Justice Act (A2054A/S2057A) which would ban many dangerous toxins (e.g. parabens, formaldehyde, PFAS, lead, mercury, etc.) currently found in our everyday body, skin, and hair products.

With every action you take at the fair: making a testimony video, signing a petition, talking to your State or City representative, it will increase your chances to win free clean beauty and personal care products. There will be multiple chances to win. Local small businesses will also have a booth where you can support them by purchasing nontoxic products. Food and drinks will be provided.
