EJNYC Queens Community Engagement Session (Charette)

Join WE ACT for Environmental Justice and Eastern Queens Alliance on Saturday, December 12th, 2026 for an EJNYC Community Engagement Session in Queens!

Come join your neighbors for an engaging, community-led discussion focused on flooding, accessible transportation, and polluted air quality. During this session, you'll:

  1. Utilize the EJNYC Report to learn about environmental justice issues impacting your borough.
  2. Talk to your neighbors about your experiences and concerns.
  3. Develop solutions through collaboration to identify meaningful ways to address the environmental issues.

We want to hear from you! Everything shared and developed during these sessions will be compiled into a final community report, which will then be shared with the Mayor's Office of Climate and Environmental Justice (MOCEJ). Our goal is to inform MOCEJ of community conversations and actions around environmental justice that YOU want to see in NYC.

Open to the entire community! We're working to make participation as accessible as possible.

  • Translation services will be available
  • Childcare will be available
  • Food will be provided
